How Mius works

How a launch works

  1. Create. Pick a name, ticker and image. One transaction deploys the token, opens its Uniswap v4 pool with the whole supply in it, and locks the liquidity. You can make the first buy in the same transaction, before anyone else can trade.
  2. Trade anywhere. From the first block the token trades in its pool: on this site, in the Uniswap app, or with trading bots. Each buy raises the price for the next one; selling moves it back down.
  3. Milestone. When the target amount of ETH has gone into the pool, the token is marked as graduated. It’s a badge, nothing changes: the token keeps trading in the same pool.

Price and supply

Every token has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000. There is no presale and no team allocation: the whole supply goes into the pool at launch, and the creator buys from the pool at the same price as everyone else.

The tokens sit in the pool as one position that starts at the launch price and covers every price above it, so the price moves like a bonding curve (constant product with virtual reserves), but with no end: the pool never runs out of room. The trade box shows your estimated amount, the minimum you will accept after slippage, and the price impact before you confirm.

The Uniswap pool

Each token has its own Uniswap v4 pool (its pair asset / the token) with a 3% pool fee. The position belongs to the Mius contract, which has no function to remove liquidity, so nobody, including the creator and Mius, can pull it.

A small hook on the pool only lets the Mius contract create it and add liquidity, so nobody can open it first at a price of their choosing. The hook also reports every swap, so trades made in other apps and bots show up on the token page too.

Pairs: ETH and stock tokens

Each token trades against one asset, its pair, picked by the creator at launch: ETH, or another asset the Mius owner has enabled, such as a stablecoin or a Robinhood stock token. The price, the pool, the milestone and the fees of that token are all in its pair asset. Buying a stock-paired token takes that stock token from your wallet (your wallet asks you to approve it first); selling gives you the stock token back.

Stock tokens are issued by Robinhood and track a share’s price, so a stock-paired token’s dollar value also moves with that stock. Their prices update 24/5 with the stock market. An issuer can pause its own token; while it is paused, pools paired with it can’t trade.

Fees

  • Pool fee: 3% of every buy and sell, on this site or from any other app or bot.
  • Creator: 1% of every swap goes to the token creator. Collect it from the token page or from Portfolio.
  • Holders: 0.5% of every swap goes to everyone holding the token, split by how much each holds. Rewards count from the moment you hold: buying later never earns rewards from before, and selling keeps what you earned. Claim them on the token page or in Portfolio, in the token’s pair asset.
  • Treasury: 1.5% of every swap goes to the Mius treasury.
  • Fees on buys are in ETH; fees on sells are in the token itself. They are collected from the pool position.
  • Launch fee: free right now.
  • Network fee: paid separately in ETH for every transaction.

Images and metadata

Token images and details are stored on IPFS. The server checks that the file really is a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF up to 4 MB, removes hidden metadata such as GPS location, and resizes it to 512×512. The metadata file (name, ticker, description, image, links) gets an ipfs:// address that is recorded with the token. Details cannot be edited after launch.

Curve pets, Mius Check and more

  • Mius pet. Every token has a little Mius that grows on the way to the milestone: an egg, hatching at 25%, a baby at 50%, grown up at 75%, and it graduates (cap and all) at the milestone.
  • Mius Check. Each token page reads the on-chain data and checks the creator’s share, how concentrated the top 10 holders are, whether the creator sold, early buyers in the first 30 seconds, the creator’s other launches, and whether there is a description and links. It’s automatic, not a review or advice.
  • Price simulator. Try a buy before sending anything: how many tokens you’d get, the price impact, and what selling would return if others buy or sell after you. It uses the same formula as the contract.
  • Creator profiles. Every creator wallet has a page with their launches, how many graduated and whether they sold.
  • Market weather. The sky follows trading in the last hour: sunny when buyers lead, rain when sellers lead, a rainbow after a graduation. The time of day follows your clock.
  • Stickers. Your portfolio collects stickers for building and patience, never for trading volume.

Network

Mius runs on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), an Ethereum layer 2 built on Arbitrum. Gas is paid in ETH. Connecting your wallet adds the network automatically if it is missing.

Mius launchpad contract: 0xD5059d0296B29CdD1de8070c72673a1235ea7bE6.

Safety

These rules are written into the Mius contract, so they hold for every token and nobody can switch them off, including the Mius team:

  • Fixed supply. Every token has exactly 1,000,000,000. The contract has no mint function.
  • No team tokens. The whole supply goes into the Uniswap pool at launch. The creator buys from the pool at the same price as everyone else.
  • Sell any time. Nobody can pause trading, block a seller or change the fee. The pool is open to every app and trading bot.
  • No hidden tax. Wallet-to-wallet transfers pay no tax, and there is no blacklist. The only fee is the Uniswap pool fee, shown up front.
  • Holders share the fees. Part of every swap’s pool fee goes to the token’s holders, split by how much each holds. Nobody can switch it off or take it.
  • Liquidity locked for good. The pool position belongs to the Mius contract, which has no way to remove it. Nobody can pull the liquidity.
  • Your funds stay yours. The Mius owner can’t touch what’s in a pool (ETH or the pair asset) or anyone’s tokens.

Only the Mius contract can create a token’s pool or add liquidity to it, and it does both in the launch transaction, so nobody can open the pool first at a fake price.

The Mius owner can set the launch fee, pause new launches and withdraw the treasury’s share of fees. Nothing more.

The contracts are tested against the original Uniswap v4 PoolManager code, including hundreds of random trade sequences that check every bit of ETH stays accounted for. The source code is published so anyone can check these rules (launchpad contract). An independent audit hasn’t been done yet.

Market risk

The contract keeps the rules fair, but it can’t make a token go up. Anyone can launch a token and prices move fast, so only trade what you can afford to lose. Check the creator, the holder list and the Mius Check on each token page. Mius does not review tokens before they launch.
